中国科学院电工研究所于1958年在北京开始筹建，迄今已有50余年的历史，
是我国目前从事电气科学研究的唯一国立研究机构。 

Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences was prepared
to build in Beijing in 1958. So far it is over 50 years old and is the only national
institute undertaking research on the subject of electrical engineering in China.
