中国农业科学院果树研究所始建于1958年3月，是我国最早的专门从事果树科学研究的综合性国家级科研机构。主要开展苹果、梨、
葡萄等北方落叶果树的研究，兼顾核果类果树和草莓、树莓等特色果树，侧重基础研究与应用技术研究，同时面向“三农”和市
场，积极开展科技兴农与技术服务等工作。
Is the earliest comprehensive national research institution that specialized in fruit tree science research, Institute of Pomology of CAAS was established in March 1958. It mainly carries out the research of northern deciduous fruit trees
such as apple, pear and grape trees, and also does some research, especially the basic research and applied
technology research, into stone fruit trees and special trees such as berry and raspberry trees. To meet the need of market and the three rural issues, it also
provides technique services and invigorate agriculture by relying on science and technology.
