CentralThe Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (TIPCCAS) was founded in in June
1999 on the basis of the former Institute of Photographic Chemistry, the former Cryogenic Laboratory, as well as some
relevant departments from Beijing Research and Development Center of Artificial Crystals and from the Institute of
Chemistry of CAS.Taking physics, chemistry and engineering technology as our academic basis, taking high-tech innovation and
the transfer of research results as our responsibility, TIPCCAS focus on photochemical conversion and basic research of the
photoelectric functional materials’ application and the achievement transfer and transformation. Breaking through the
key technologies of nonlinear optical crystals and all-solid-state laser devices, TIPCCAS is dedicated to promoting the
development and application of cryogenic engineering and technology.basic research, applied research, engineering
research and industrialization task.
